Exciting Changes at Parkers: A New Era of Eco-Friendly Lids

Parkers Packaging Eco-Friendly Lids

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation, Parkers Packaging has made the move to delist plastic lids for our 100ml, 125ml, and 500ml pots, replacing them with a fully recyclable paper alternative (eco-friendly lids).

This change comes in response to both evolving legislation on single-use plastics and increasing demand from our environmentally-conscious customers. We understand that this shift may have raised some questions – particularly from those who are used to the plastic option – so we’re here to clarify and celebrate what’s next.

Why the Switch to Paper?

Legislation surrounding packaging materials is tightening, with an emphasis on reducing single-use plastics. By proactively transitioning to paper lids, we’re not only staying ahead of regulatory changes but also helping our clients avoid Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) implications.
